Set a time, plant your phone, and get to work. Here is what happens between planting it and getting it back.
Plant it.
Slide your phone into the pot, screen facing you. The InlaeR app locks the phone and shows a closed bud. Notifications wait until you’re done.
It reads you.
While the phone is planted, its front camera reads how the session is going: whether you’re at the desk, how still you sit, how often your eyes wander. What it sees decides how the bud grows.
It rises.
When your time is almost up, the pot slowly raises the phone, and the bud starts to open.
It blooms.
When the time is up, the flower is open and the phone unlocks. Pick it up — you’re done.
No EEG.
On purpose.
Our other device, Leo, reads focus from brainwaves. The Pot reads it with what a phone already has: its camera. Either way, it’s the same app and the same flower.
